Senior Expos and Conferences in Maine 2018

Senior Expos are shows or fairs that feature services and information especially targeted to Maine seniors. There are often health screenings, talks, entertainment and special opportunities like flu shots and antique appraisals at our senior expos.

Maine Senior Guide hosts five senior expos a year. For 2018, we plan expos in April in Rockland, May in Scarborough, and June in Auburn. Our fall expos are Freeport and Kittery. We also plan to host another Boomer conference, Your Second Act Maine, sometime in 2018.

We’re developing a new conference for Spring 2018. Called Aging Parents 101, it’s designed to help people discover options for assisting their loved ones and provide a bit of a roadmap for aging. We’ll kick off with a well-known geriatric speaker, then have two workshops on different challenges, like difficult conversations, providing respite to caregivers and advocating for seniors. Lunch
will include roundtable sessions where people can talk about what worked for them or ask questions of other people in the trenches. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 7, 2018, in Freeport. More info follows!
