Mature Mainers of any age are invited to attend three Successful Aging Expos planned for Fall 2024. All expos are free to attend, no registration required, and run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Northern Light Healthcare is offering Covid boosters and flu shots all day at the expos. Please bring your insurance card.
The Southern Maine Successful Aging Expo and Successful Aging Forum, October 3, 2024, is at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5 Park St., Freeport. The free expo will feature 35+ exhibitors, talks and free coffee. Door prizes (including a night at the Hilton) and demos make for a fun and free day. Many thanks to sponsor Southern Maine Hearing!
The Successful Aging Forum features 10 speakers, beginning at 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., and then a keynote at 2:15 with coffee and refreshments. Keynote speaker is Dr. Susan Wehry, director of AgingME at the University of New England, who will talk about brain health and the aging brain.
The Central Maine Successful Aging Expo is at the Maine State Armory, Western Avenue in Augusta on October 17, 2024. Join us for a day of exhibitor information, talks and a chance to get questions answered from expert resources ranging from insurance and estate planning to home care and senior communities. Flu shots and Covid boosters will be offered by Northern Light Health Care.
The Seacoast Successful Aging Expo is October 30, 2024 at the Kittery Community Center, 125 Rogers Rd. in Kittery. Visit to check out area resources for older Mainers and their families. With several dozen exhibitors, there will be many opportunities to get your questions answers on home care, senior communities, rehabilitation, insurance, hearing help and much more. Hosted by on-line resource Maine Senior Guide, the expo runs from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and feature many expert resources and talks and demos. Plenty of free parking is available.
