Home Care Agencies

Home support offers assistance to people who’d like to remain independently at home. Sometimes home support is temporary, following rehabilitation, and includes help like home making, grocery shopping, cooking, assistance with general activities like bathing, and even pet care. Other times, home support is a long-term partnership that includes daily assistance that allows the person to remain in residence, and companionship. Home care workers might transport their clients to doctors appointments or social engagements.

Home care agencies are generally not licensed to provide medical care.
