Hike for Hospice is a walk fundraiser to support Hospice of Southern Maine’s mission to provide compassion, care and comfort through end of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Each year, Hospice of Southern Maine cares for more than 1,800 patients and their loved ones at home and our Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
We are excited to announce that this year’s event will be held in person. The past two years, virtual participants have kept this brand-new event going strong. In keeping with this tradition, and so that everyone may participate within their own comfort level, we will once again offer a virtual option in addition to the in-person event taking place on October 15, 2022.
Register for the in-person Hike for Hospice event and Join us on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 9:00am! We’ll start the day off with a fun program at Hospice of Southern Maine’s Hospice Center and begin the walk along a designated route including the Eastern Trail.
Register, pick up your t-shirt, then join us virtually by walking wherever and whenever you’d like through October 31, 2021. Participating virtually allows you to choose your own route and activity! You have the flexibility and convenience of walking, biking, running, or hiking at any time, at your own pace, and a distance that’s good for you. No matter what, you’re supporting a great cause and your support makes all the difference.
Get creative and share your experience by posting photos and videos to your personal fundraising page. Make each step count and share your experience with everyone!
We can’t wait to see you!
