Craig Hawkins, MD, FACS, a board certified urologist for almost twenty years, has joined Mid Coast Medical Group – Urology and the active medical staff of Mid Coast Hospital. He specializes in disorders of the urinary tract in men and women with a focus on bladder cancer.
Dr. Hawkins also remains on the active medical staff of Maine Medical Center in Portland as a member of Maine Medical Partners – Urology. He holds clinical teaching positions at Tufts University and formerly at the University of Vermont.

Dr. Hawkins received his undergraduate and medical degree form the University of Vermont and completed a surgical and urological residency at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven Connecticut, followed by a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is the recipient of the American Medical Association’s Physician Recognition Award and is included in the Consumer’s Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Urologists.”
