The Maine Association of Area Agencies on Aging is pleased to announce that Jessica Maurer, Esq. is the new Executive Director. Jessica worked as an attorney in the Maine Office of the Attorney General for nearly two decades.
In her last seven years in the Office, she was Special Assistant to Attorney General Steve Rowe and worked extensively on issues affecting Maine seniors. The Association’s President and Elder Law attorney, John Nale, Esq. says of Maurer, “Jessica has impressive organizational skills, extensive knowledge and is a proven effective leader. She will be a tireless advocate on behalf of Maine seniors and the issues affecting them. We’re thrilled to have her on board.” Jessica will provide leadership and a unifying voice for Maine’s five Area Agencies on Aging on issues that promote independence, dignity and economic self-reliance for Maine’s 200,000+ seniors.
