The Medicare study evaluated readmissions and complications data at over 4,800 health care organizations, and Maine Medical Center was found to be in the top 25. Maine Medical Partners — Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is proud to offer the anterolateral approach for total hip replacement, a minimally invasive procedure that allows for a much quicker recovery, and faster return to normal activity. Most patients are able to leave the hospital after only one day. Were also a leader in minimally invasive total knee replacement, and traditional hip, knee, and shoulder replacement. Maine Medical Centers team of Board certified anesthesiologists, Magnet nurses, and rehabilitation specialists support the treatment plans tailored to each individual patient.
