The Midcoast region of Maine is made up of the coastal counties of Waldo, Knox, Lincoln, and Sagadahoc, plus a small part of Cumberland County. It’s a popular tourist destination and is known for its rocky coast, bays, coves, and quaint villages.
The Midcoast region’s boundaries can vary, but it generally starts near Freeport or Bath and ends near Bucksport or Ellsworth.
