The Department of Veterans Affairs has opened a new clinic at 144 Fore St. in Portland. The clinic offers primary care and laboratory services as well as an in-home primary care team.
In June, the name of veterans healthcare changed to VA Maine Healthcare System (VA Maine HCS) and they also changed their Togus website to www.maine.va.gov. Community clinics like the new one in Portland are still part of the system.
