A 4,600 sq. ft. expansion, including state-of-the-art rehab therapy equipment, is featured Friday at the Maine Veterans’ Home open house at 44 Hogan Road in Bangor. Healthcare professionals in the area are invited to tour the recent rehab therapy expansion at the Home on Friday, June 8.The expansion includes a therapy pool and ZeroG overground gait and balance system.
“This open house is a great opportunity to see some pretty remarkable types of therapy equipment, some of which has never been seen in Maine,” said Greg Urban, MVH Administrator. “With so many veterans in the Bangor area, this is also the perfect time to come in and see what rehab therapy services Maine Veterans’ Homes offers veterans and their spouses, and what benefits they are entitled to.”
The event is this Friday, June 8th. Healthcare professionals are welcome to stop by the Home, located at 44 Hogan Road in Bangor, any time between 11am and 1pm. There will be tours, equipment demonstrations and a light lunch will be provided. For more information, please call us at 942-2333.
